1. Who this policy covers
iNukollu Tech Services (ITeS) (“PrivateNumber”, “we”, “us”) provides PrivateNumber. This policy covers our public website, subscriber portal, and communications and call-handling services. It does not govern a third-party website or service that you choose to use.
PrivateNumber is designed to reduce exposure of your personal phone number. Callers interact with your PrivateNumber rather than receiving your verified destination number.
2. Data we collect
Data you provide
- Account and contact details, such as your name, email address, and verified phone number.
- Preferences such as schedules, trusted or blocked callers, screening instructions, languages, and AI receptionist settings.
- Messages you send to support and information you submit for early access.
- Billing and subscription details. Payment card data may be handled directly by our payment provider rather than stored by us.
Call and service data
- Calling and destination numbers, timestamps, duration, routing status, and actions such as answer, decline, voicemail, or block.
- Caller-provided name, organization, purpose, urgency, voicemail, transcripts, and summaries when the corresponding features are used.
- Audio needed to transmit or process a call. Audio is not retained by default; a feature that records or saves audio will identify that behavior.
Website and technical data
- Browser, device, IP-derived region, diagnostic logs, security signals, and interactions needed to operate and protect our services.
- With your permission, Google Analytics data such as pages viewed, approximate location, device information, referral source, and selected website interactions. We use Google Analytics Measurement ID G-6MSK833Q8L.
3. How we use data
We use personal data to provide and route calls; verify accounts and numbers; apply your privacy rules; operate voicemail and the optional AI receptionist; provide summaries; manage subscriptions; communicate with you; prevent fraud, spam, misuse, and security incidents; troubleshoot and improve reliability; understand website performance when you consent to analytics; and meet legal obligations.
We do not sell personal data. We do not use the content of your calls, transcripts, or summaries to train general-purpose AI models unless we first provide a clear choice and obtain any consent required.
5. How long we keep data
We keep account data while your account is active and for a limited period afterward for recovery, disputes, fraud prevention, and legal obligations. Call metadata, voicemail, transcripts, summaries, support records, and logs are retained only for the period needed for their stated purpose, your selected settings, security, or law. Retention periods may differ by feature and jurisdiction.
When data is no longer required, we delete it or de-identify it. Backup copies may remain until the normal backup cycle completes.
6. Your privacy choices and rights
- Review and change call rules, AI features, trusted callers, blocks, and other settings in your account.
- Allow or decline website analytics. You can reopen Analytics settings from the footer at any time.
- Unsubscribe from product email using the link in the message.
- Ask to access, correct, update, erase, or receive information about your personal data, subject to applicable law and necessary identity verification.
- Withdraw consent where processing relies on consent. Withdrawal does not affect processing already performed lawfully.
- Raise a grievance or nominate another individual to exercise applicable rights where provided by law.
To submit a request, email us at the address below. We may retain limited information when required by law or needed to protect the service and other people.
7. Security
We use administrative, technical, and organisational measures intended to protect personal data, including access controls, encryption where appropriate, monitoring, and restricted operational access. No internet or telecommunications service is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Children
PrivateNumber is not directed to children under 18, and we do not knowingly create accounts for them without legally valid involvement from a parent or guardian. Contact us if you believe a child has provided personal data improperly.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our services, providers, or legal obligations change. We will post the revised version here, update the effective date, and provide additional notice when a change materially affects your rights or how we use personal data.
10. Contact and grievances
For privacy questions, requests, or grievances, contact iNukollu Tech Services (ITeS) at privacy@privatenumber.in. Please describe your request and the account email or phone number involved. Do not send passwords, one-time codes, or unnecessary sensitive information.
